Tonight I went shooting at the range with Devin, an instructor of mine, and his wife. Devin had troubles qualifying at the yearly shooting a few weeks ago, so the Captain offered to go to the range and lend him his 9mm to practice with it. I decided it was a good time as any to break in my new Walther P22 that Larry had given me last Christmas. Compared to the M-9, it’s a baby gun. Easy to shoot, though. I was ecstatic to see that the shooting gallery had a selection of targets, including a few different German SS soldiers… as zombies! Yes, please! I felt like I was on the set of the film Dead Snow, or a real-life version of The Haunted World of El Superbeasto. Although you can’t quite tell, that brain didn’t stand a chance. Anyway, all good shooting ends with soft serve ice cream afterwards. Just saying.
Tomorrow I have a CALCM and gravity bombing mission in the simulator. Leave the gun, take the cannolis massive, devastating firepower.
