poem: hallway

her voice is so demanding,
always the center of attention
always.
unaware of closest closet contempt,
she creeps into my days.
unaware.
blinding smile and obnoxious laughter
echo through my sullen mind.
faintly.
her female potency emanates,
searing the secluded burnouts.
vanity.
muffled as my censored thoughts,
her secret sins choke on
repugnance.
finding her penitence
is to embrace exposure.
oblivious.
