poem: feathered wings

i seal my eyes and
take a deep breath
to inhale the delicious
scent of him.

i journey
yet no where in the world
is complete without
him.

i feel felicity and contentment
in rapid conversation
or even none at all.

laughter with him
is utter bliss.

the sound of his name
sends tingles to my toes
and plays a smile on my face.

my love embraces me as he
ties my stomach in knots
and sorts me out again.

i toss and want of him
and my friend leads me
to dream sweet dreams
of sugared nothings.
