things are going swell lately, only a few troubles here and there and not the usual avalanche! sometimes i think the avalanches are what keeps me alert and busy.

last wednesday was the big bad voodoo daddy concert! i wore a really gaudy white fruit print dress with these heels:

yeah, that was a mistake.

i danced swing for an hour and a half in those heels. i even charlestoned. someone should award me a ribbon! the next four days i was hobbling around looking like a cripple. fashion over function! matty was complaining because his little toe hurt. he was wearing converse. cry me a river, big boy.

i am obsessed with everything josephine baker. observe. you would be too.

she was way ahead of her time. however, if she was in any later, she'd be labeled smut, not a dance act. and what a voice!

i recorded two new piano pieces. have a looksee here (here? hear? get it? ha ha! lame).

i wish i had money for new clothes. i'm tired of wearing rags.

i should be on that show where the wife or whoever calls the show to come finish all the projects their husband didn't. i have to finish painting the living room and kitchen, painting my dresser, finishing the top of the dresser. i guess i just procrastinate when it comes to painting. it's fun for the first bit because you see a big change. then i just wander off.
