i've got it bad, and that ain't good. i'm head over heels and it's ridiculous. i stop to look at flowers. i smile at birds. i notice butterflies. i run from wasps. i moon at films like casablanca. i dance by myself to this. can you believe it? i am happy. but, then again, i've always done those things.

i made a rather scary recording of myself playing accordion. i'm a beginner, so cover your ears! listen? my oh my it's the ol' red squeezebox in action!

tomorrow is the big bad voodoo daddy concert. i'm planning to wear my hair like this again:

photos to come, i'm sure. i just want to go because, if you remember, dearest matthew took me the day before my 18th birthday last summer, forgot the tickets, and we arrived in time for the last two songs. totally lame (you'd think i was still sore about it... hmm). however, the chance came to see them again! i was dumbfounded by the piano player of the band, of course. the piano was see-through, and you could see the little note knees dancing up and down. i hope to dance, dance with anyone!

out of an mp3 collection of 2,873, over 1,550 of those are pre-1945. you can listen to pre-1945 songs without any repeats for 3.2 days. they take up 3.84 GB of my hard drive. if you'd like to trade something (cd's, photos, posters, ball o' yarn) for a copy, let me know. i'd love to set up a trade and spread this music across the globe!

i do not own the broadway melody of 1936 or the great ziegfeld. somebody buy them for me! after all, my 19th birthday is coming up on june 14th! don't forget... because turning 19 is so unimportant and uninteresting. you should just take pity on my and buy them because 19 is just that: pitiful. gosh, i feel so old sometimes. i'll have a conniption when i turn twen-tree. nobody will read my site (they don't anyway), nobody will want to read my livejournal. they''ll just say "oh that old bat is wrinkley and all dried up." i wish i was, actually. i wish i was 85 to be exact, that way i could remember the finer things. i could say i owned a model-a ford and met clark gable. i would have, too. i would have lived in hollywood and been famous. my best friend would have been mae west, and we would have sashayed around and been double trouble. i would have drank too much and laughed too loud and smoked too much. i would have danced and owned coco chanel dresses that glittered more than an early 1930's mgm musical. yeah, i'd be a big star all right. and...i wouldn't have to wish i wouldn't wake up from these dreams. "don't wake me up, let me dream."
