so i actually have a couple interesting and zany things to report! this past friday, matty and i sorted through our junk to sell at a yard sale! so after getting up at seven in the aye emm on saturday morning, in four hours out in the searing florida sun, we made a whopping $19.75! completely boring. it ended up buying us lunch, toll money and my rocky horror ticket. i am still very poor, so if you'd like to make a contribution, even just a few bucks, paypal me, brenna@grrlstar.net.
so even if the garage sale was a bust, the rest of the night wasn't so bad. miss amy took me to dinner to meet her new friends, nathan and jai. after, i scooped up nerie, she needed to pick up her cloves, then we were heading over to the fiji house for some good ol' frat party silliness.
we spotted the house by the 30 foot smoldering volcano in the backyard. as they checked the ID's at the door, we noticed a little waterfall under the bridge you walk on, and through the big volcano. so clever and what fantastic decorations! since it was their yearly "islander party", the fijis went all out! there was beach sand to walk on, palm leaves lining every fence, huge lit tiki heads, and of course, a lot of underage drinking.

we were welcomed by my invitee, charlie, who beamed and exclaimed, "you made it!" i commented on the lovely decor that he headed up. mike, nerie's invitee, stole us away to give us a grand tour. however, this annoying guy who we call "chuck" (from daria... "grrr! fiesty!") was all over nerie trying to get her drinks and being totally obnoxious. mike showed us their designated "hook up rooms", complete with black lights, which they had made for people who want "privacy". the huge bed and pillow one made for like, 6 people was my favorite. how silly. chuck asked nerie if she wanted to try them out. puke.

after hanging around for about 45 minutes, the fijis did their ceremony where they paint the brothers purple (their color). after watching the testosteron...errr, ceremony, we decided to head out (especially after the horriffic pick up line, "hey, i have seen you on campus before!" was blasted in my direction). chuck was sad. who cares.

so after that, we jetted over to see our bi-monthly installment of AP rocky horror picture show, and saw amy on the road on the way. it was not that crowded, but i did see a boy from high school (and junior high, and elementary school...). it was super fun. what was not fun, however, was me being the adventurer i am, and getting lost on the highway. i thought this certain route was quicker, but actually was taking us to miami. whoops. so i rolled into the house about three, called the matticus, and passed out. "what a day!"
